The end of winter is probably one of the most difficult periods for us, because on one side we have reports that in a moment a wonderful and long-awaited spring will come, and on the other hand this moment does not want to come. The countdown to spring becomes less burdensome if I plan specific actions and I’m a master at making time waiting for what I want. I usually think of classes that absorb me so much that before I see them, what I am waiting for is coming.
However, I like to prepare well until spring, to be able to draw energy from it and enter the new season without unnecessary ballast in the form of the word “I must”.I also don’t like the spring solstice, but I noticed that it is less painful if I do something that pleases me and although these are seemingly repetitive things, their implementation positively inspires me to change. After all, we associate spring with change above all.
I started the countdown a dozen or so days ago and consists of:
- CHANGE OF WINTER HABITS,-
In the past season, I learned something that I previously associated only with laziness. It turned out that basking under a blanket with a cup of hot tea and a book in hand can be a great relaxation and a way to calm down.
In spring, everything that had to stop in the winter begins. - CHANGE OF DIET WITHOUT SPECIAL SUPERVISION AND PRESSURE
Warming of dishes and hot drinks will gladly replace light salads and homemade water, I will limit the meat even more, and above all I will give up sweets, because in recent weeks my body has become interested in them again because of PREGNACY.In the spring, we all change the diet, but I remember a greater desire to experiment with vegetables, and these are the ones I miss the most, i.e. their large selection. In addition, the very awareness that I can get up earlier just to drink my morning coffee, which I sometimes exchange for a glass of water with lemon and prepare a light breakfast, which I will eat on the terrace in the fumes of freshly cut grass make me feel somehow lighter. So when it comes to diet, it is enough for it to be lighter, more colorful and varied, and its caloric content will automatically decrease. - SPRING CLEANING UP IN THE HEAD AND THE NEAREST SPACE
I need orderly space for effective operation.Objects pounding around the house, clothes falling out of some wardrobes and cupboards, arrears in papers that are waiting for their better time are trifles that in a weaker moment can disturb my inner peace and normal functioning. - EXCHANGE OF WARDROBE AND INVITATION OF SPRING TO THE CABINET
There is probably nothing better than hiding sweaters, pants, hats, jackets and shoes deep in the bottom of the wardrobe.Changing the season is a fully justified excuse to refresh the wardrobe, shopping and changing the style of dressing.Although I’m not planning any major metamorphosis, I’m always happy to introduce some new, characteristic element and even a small change in clothing.
